AUSTIN – Floyd Montrel Moore, 29, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, is now in custody after turning himself in on March 26 in Fort Worth. Moore, a violent sex offender, was wanted for aggravated assault and sex offender registration violation. The arrest was not the result of a tip, and no reward will be paid.
Moore’s criminal history includes aggravated sexual assault of a child, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. For more information, view his captured bulletin on the DPS website.
So far in 2015, DPS and other agencies have arrested nine Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including eight sex offenders and one gang member, and $13,500 in rewards have been paid for tips that resulted in arrests.
