Fourteen of the 27 jailed on Thursday were booked for offenses alleged to have been committed in the past 24 hours. Of those, four were booked for public intoxication, two for theft, two for assault and one for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The remainder were booked on warrants, some of which included those for theft and assault. Five of the individuals booked on Thursday were women; the remainder were men.
Twenty-nine inmates were released on Thursday.
