Man Returns to Jail within Hours of Release for Pulling Gun on Girlfriend

A man who was released from the county jail at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday was back behind bars within four and a half hours, after pulling a gun on the girlfriend that had picked him up downtown.

On March 18, at approximately 11:14 a.m., police responded to the unit block of Belaire Ave. for a report of an unwanted subject with a weapon. Upon arrival, police observed 22-year-old Paul Ryan Garcia acting aggressive and yelling. Garcia was taken into custody without incident.

Upon further investigation it was learned the situation was a domestic issue. A 22-year-old Hispanic female, who is in a relationship with Garcia, had gone to pick up Garcia upon his release from the Tom Green County Jail.  After leaving the jail, Garcia became agitated, retrieved a gun from somewhere in the vehicle, pointed the gun at the victim, and threatened to kill her if she did not take him home.  It was reported Garcia fired the gun outside the vehicle in the area of the intersection of 6th Street and Chadbourne to emphasize his threat, but this cannot be confirmed by police at this time.  Once they were at the house, the victim was able to get away from Garcia and call the Police.

Detective Jake Russell responded to continue the investigation.  A gun was located in the vehicle and is believed to have been reported stolen in a burglary earlier this year.

Garcia was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon.  Other charges may be forthcoming pending further investigation.

Well folks... Here's yet another bottom feeder that has proven he is useless in our free society... Why our justice system just cannot throw them away like yesterdays garbage and lock them in a small cage in some penitentiary to let them be forgotten for life is more than I will ever understand. Yet, he will be out once again in no time and at some point down the road, some family will be scarred for life when they lose a family member to the hands of this scumbag........

I'm really sick and tired of the domestic abuse issue. Seriously. Did she not learn the first time? Did she think his short incarceration was going to somehow magically transform him into Prince Charming? Oh wait... it's not that easy... She LOVED him, right?

STUPID PEOPLE!!
