The bars were full on Tuesday night as green concoctions were served up at local watering holes, but surprisingly, the year's notorious alcohol-fueled holiday didn't see too many jailable offenses.
Of the total 20 people locked up on St. Patrick's Day, seven were booked for offenses committed within the last 24 hours and four of those were booked on alcohol-related charges including two DWIs and two PIs.
Two others booked on Tuesday were charged with assault, while one was picked up for disorderly conduct abusive language. Another picked up on a warrant for pot possession was found to be in possession of pot.
Twenty-one inmates were released from the jail on Tuesday.
