Gangland Execution Shooter Pleads Guilty, Sentenced to Life

The 19-year-old gunman behind the deaths of 22-year-olds Alvaro Carrillo, Jr. and Tabitha Freeman entered Judge Barbara Walther's courtroom on Monday afternoon to enter a plea bargain on a capital murder charge.

Johnny Garcia, surround by by sheriff's deputies and bailiff's put his hands over his mouth and nose and paused before saying "guilty" as Walther asked for his plea on the charge. He was sentenced to life without parole.

Attorneys for Garcia Theodore "Tip" Hargrove and John Young told the court the decision to enter the plea follows the trial of 18-year-old Daniel Uvalle, who was convicted of capital murder last month and acted as Garcia's accomplice to the crime. Hargrove said that now that District Attorney Allison Palmer has had the opportunity to try the case and put forth her witnesses before a jury, a rumor was circulating that the death penalty, previously waived, may be back on the table.

"It was my understanding that the death penalty very well may be put back on the table," Young said sternly.

Having discussed the possibility of death with Garcia and explained that Palmer has already been able to "test" her witnesses on a jury, Garcia agreed to a plea that equates to death by prison.

This is just punishment as I see it. A lethal injection is too humane and should be reserved only for pets that you love that need to go on to a better place after spending a loved life with their owner. Realistically, this worthless individual could live for another 60 years. That equates to 21,900 days and nights staring at 3 dingy concrete walls and 1 iron door 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. As technology moves forward, all he will ever know from here on out is what he has learned until today, nothing further will he ever know about freedom, advancement or life outside his walls..... Adios Johnny, the world is a better place without you in it beginning tomorrow !!!

It would suck to know that at the age of 22 that the only thing you'll ever know is what's behind bars because you wanted to act a big shot gangsta!

Now you will die in prison on my dime. Never get to watch your kids grow up if you had any before you made this stupid mistake...hopefully you didn't! If you did sad day for them as they'll only know their father from behind bars and some other man will raise them.

Maybe young kids will realize that it's NOT cool to be a wanna be gangsta!
As you could be spending the rest of your life behind bars!
