Marijuana Possession Leads Tuesday Jail Bookings

 

Traffic in and out of the county jail was high on Tuesday, when 35 individuals were booked in, 14 of which were accused of having commited offenses within the last 24 hours. 

Among those jailed without warrants were seven accused of possessing marijuana, and the majority of those also had other charges. Two more were booked for driving while intoxicated, while one person apiece was jailed for public intoxication and aggravated assault on a family member with a deadly weapon.

Those booked on warrants included charges of theft, failure to appear, burglary and other violations, while others were booked on commitments for aggravated sexual assault of a child, theft and drug possession.

Monday's manhunt suspect, Trent Eugene Watson, was also picked up on warrants for car theft and evading arrest

Thirty-one individuals were released on Tuesday.
