San Angelo Police need your help identifying and locating a group of suspects who broke into a storage area and stole a camping trailer.
Police have obtained video surveillance footage of the incident, which occurred on February 10, just before 5:00 a.m. at the Red Bluff Storage facility located at 5961 Knickerbocker road.
In the video, you can see a motorcycle, a dark colored SUV, and a white truck arrive to the location. The subjects drove off but returned a short time later. After the truck returned, the driver exited, cut the lock on the fence and drove inside. The SUV followed.
The driver of the motorcycle returned and dropped off a passenger who then ran inside. The passenger, believed to be a female, appears to have been carrying a backpack.
A short time later, the truck exited the facility. The SUV also exited with the stolen trailer in tow, causing extensive damage to the fence and gate in the process.
Police later located the truck abandoned and learned it had been stolen prior to this incident.
The 2003 Mobile Scout Camper Trailer and SUV will likely have damage to their right side, right back quarter panel, and/or taillights.
If you come across this trailer for sale in a print advertisement or online site such as Craigslist or Facebook Swap & Sell, please report it to law enforcement.
