Twenty-one men and five women joined the revolving jail population on Wednesday, many of which were booked on warrants for previous charges or missed court dates. Theft was the number one charge behind the jailings and accounted for four inmates booked, two of which were women.
Three were booked on DWI charges on Wednesay and three were booked for marijuana possession. Two more were charged with possession, and one person apiece was booked on charges of public intoxication, evading arrest, DUI, assault and burglary.
Twenty-two inmates were released on Wednesday.
