Crotch Rocket Driver ID'd, Slapped with Felony Charge

The driver of a yellow Suzuki motorcycle that was involved in a high-speed chase on Monday has been identified as 21-year-old Dallas Leeland Gray. 

Gray, whose rap sheet shows only one previous jail visit for failure to identify and pot possession, was booked into the county jail at 9:31 p.m. by the SAPD on one count of exhibition of acceleration, a class c misdemeanor, and one count of evading arrest/detention with vehicle, a state jail felony.

Nearly one-third of the remaining individuals booked into the county jail on Monday were charged with theft, including seven of the 24 total inmates, one of which had two theft charges. 

In addition, four were charged with assault, three with possession, two with DWI, two with marijuana possession. 

Thirty-five inmates were released on Monday.
