Man Jailed for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Over Weekend

 

A 58-year-old man was picked up by the San Angelo Police Department on Friday on a warrant out of Hamilton County for aggravated sexual assault of a child. Theron Glenn Bennet was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 2:35 a.m. on Friday and is currently being held in lieu of a $10,000 surety bond. View Friday's full boking report here. On Sunday, 22 individuals were booked into the county jail, many on multiple charges and/or warrants. Six of those booked had DWI charges, one of which, 21-year-old Arisdeiby Solewin, was booked for DWI with a blood-alcohol content level of .15 or greater, twice the legal limit. 

In addition, three were charged with assault, two were charged with possession, two with marijuana, one with theft, one with public intoxication and one with possession of dangerous drugs. 

Fifteen inmates were released on Sunday.

I guess the age of the alleged perp is not the determining factor. Frame of mind; thinking such activity is OK; it's not. Hope you can be withheld from General Population when you get sent to the Big House For Offenders; if not, you may find your situation a bit uncomfortable.

Even if this is his first offense I hope they throw away the key. You know he didn't go 58 years and then begin to be attracted to children unless he recently had a very serious head injury.
