Drug Possession Leads Wednesday Jail Bookings

 

Thirty-one inmates were booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Wednesday, the majority of which were jailed on multiple charges and warrants.

Drug possession was the most popular choice among them at seven charges total, followed by two charges apiece for theft, assault, pot, DWI and public intoxication. Additionally, there was one charge each of forgery, manufacture/delivery, injury to a child/elderly/disabled person, credit/debit card abuse and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

Twenty-two inmates were released on Wednesday.
