Police Respond to Report of Stabbing in North San Angelo

At least four police cruisers are parked in front of a house located at 13th and Irving St., where a stabbing has been reported.

An ambulance left the scene around 5 p.m., and several responding officers remain at the house, talking to witnesses and looking around the pavement.

Reports of the stabbing have not yet been confirmed, but initial radio traffic indicated that a man had stabbed his uncle.

This story will be updated as information becomes available.

Update 5:30 p.m.

A detective has arrived on scene and went to meet with other officers. It does not appear that the alleged stabbing occurred at the location.

This comment has nothing to do about the article above. It's about an ad that popped up on this page for "Instant Checkmate". It "supposedly" offers a "free" report on you or family and friends. Once at the site it also said that it was "free". It looked everything up for me but then I "had to" pay $1.00 for the report. Needless to say, I left the site. I just wanted to warn others. It also had my husband listed as "possibly" having a criminal record. Well...my husband is a police officer for San Angelo Police Department and does not have a criminal background. He's been with the department for over 16 years now. Like I said, this is just a warning about this website. Thanks!
