Police: Unauthorized Steer Roping Injured Livestock at Coliseum

 

It was reported to police that an unknown person(s) entered a barn next to the Foster Communications Coliseum, 50 E. 43rd., saddled a horse, and then used the horse to possibly rope a steer. Steers were located within the same barn. The horse and steer were injured during this incident.  The barn is located east of the Coliseum.  (Refer to photograph)

This past weekend's incident is being investigated as an incident of animal cruelty by detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
