San Angelo Police Investigate Possible Stabbing

 

San Angelo police are searching for a male suspect scanner traffic indicated had stabbed a 36-year-old female this afternoon in the 2700 block of E. 21st St.

At circa 3:00 p.m., officers responded to an assault call at a residence, and arrived to find the female victim, who had sustained two injuries to her lower left leg.

As police began to search for the suspect, the woman was transported to Community Medical Center for non life-threatening injuries. 

The incident is still under investigation, SAPD Public Information Officer Brian Robinson said. Currently, no description of the suspect is being dissiminated, as police officially received two conflicting reports on the man's appearance. Robinson said that when police receive a solid description, that information will be passed on to the public. 

No relationship between the suspect and the female has been confirmed, and police have not confirmed whether the alleged stabbing took place.
