27 Warrants Issued Following Grand Jury Indictments

 

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of 27 accused criminals in the county who have been recently indicted by a Grand Jury that met for one day this month. Fifty-one individuals are listed on the seven-page indictment list, with 56 different indictments among them.

Once again, nearly half of the indictments (27) pertain to drug charges, the majority of which (18) are for possession penalty group 1 (PG1), a charge tacked on to those possessing less than a gram of a controlled substance. Aggravated offenses also accounted for several of the charges on the list.

Four individuals were indicted on two or more charges, and all but one of those four have been indicted on at least one count of possession PG1 or manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

Below is the list of the total indictments in each category, as well as the names of those indicted. Some received multiple indictments for the same offense.

Possession of a controlled substance: PG 1, <1 gram—18 indictments

Jonathon Isaac Lucio; Jerry Carl Paxton; Edward Cacuin Maywald; Francisco Chappa Flores Jr.; Ross Hendrick; Shana Sue McAllister; Codi Lynn Martinez; Steven Wayne Smith; Gerardo Manuel Enriquez; Raymundo Gavario Jr.; Roberto Hernandez Jr.; Tito Guzman Galindo; Mark Anthony Reyna; Sandy Lucio Hernandez; Zaki Natasha Alexander; Mary Elizabeth Cyr; Jaime Mendoza; Vanessa Marie Marinez.

Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance: PG1, >/=4 grams<200 grams—8 indictments (some have multiple)

Erik Anthony Quinonez; Ector Gonzales Gamez; Adrian Herrera Jr.; Daniel Martin Munoz (3); Jessica Lynn Martinez; Jimmy Acosta Carrasco.

Possession of marijuana: >4 ounces </= 5 pounds—1 indictment

Jesse Arispe Alvarado III.

Three individuals were indicted on two charges in August and one individual was indicted on three. Those individuals and their charges are listed below:

Gabriel Hughes: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family member; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Francisco Chappa Flores Jr.: Evading arrest/detention with vehicle; possession PG1.

Daniel Martin Munoz: Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG1 (3).

Roberto Hernandez Jr.: Possession PG1; unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

The remaining individuals were indicted on the following charges:

Burglary of a Habitation (1)—Estavan Trujillo

DWI 3rd or more (1)—Miguel Lara Martinez

Evading Arrest (3)—Albert Armijo Martinez Jr.; Francisco Chappa Flores Jr.; Sean Perry Freeman

Forgery (3)—Casi Dena Tribbett; Calvin Wayne Thames Sr.; Sarah Nadine Lamb

Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Person (1)—Brodie Ross Royal
