Shots Fired at San Angelo's Only Strip Bar, Desiree's
Gunshots have been fired at San Angelo's only strip bar, Desiree's. As of 12:30 a.m., police had found seven shots, five in the exterior of the building and two in a car parked outside.
Police on scene said that the suspect may have been a patron, who fired on the building upon leaving, however the investigation is ongoing and the circumstances have not yet been confirmed.
Officer Garrett and Martin of the San Angelo Police responded to the scene after dispatch received a 911 call at 11:23 Monday night. A third SAPD unit responded as backup.
The shooter has not been apprehended. However, the radio indicated that the police know the possible identity of the person of interest and are searching for him or her.
There are no reports of any injuries.
On the scene are the San Angelo Police, the SAPD Criminal Investigations Division, a K9 unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Desiree’s has been closed for the evening and patrons could be seen leaving the strip bar at 12:45 a.m.
