Police Seize Half Kilo of Cocaine

 

On Jan. 6 at about 1:15 p.m., San Angelo Police Narcotics Detectives, with assistance of Detectives from the Special Operations Section and Criminal Investigation Division, along with K-9 Officer Fincher and his police service dog Fritz, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the Unit block of E. 9th Street.

During the search a package filled with cocaine weighing 526 grams was located, along with $7,439 in cash and a .38 cal Smith and Wesson revolver. Jose Padron, 56, who was in the residence at the time the search warrant was executed, was arrested for Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1. >= 200 grams <400 grams. San Angelo Police Detectives will be conducting a follow-up investigation.
