Video Shows Scene as Crash Closes Northbound U.S. 67

SAN ANGELO, TX — A traffic crash involving multiple vehicles shut down all northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 67 near Old Ballinger Highway on Saturday evening, according to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities issued an alert shortly before 6:45 p.m., reporting the closure and advising motorists to seek alternate routes. Southbound traffic was being diverted onto Old Ballinger Highway, while northbound traffic remained backed up at the scene.

According to reports, at least three vehicles were involved, with debris scattered across the roadway. The center median barrier was also reported to be damaged.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and other emergency responders were seen working at the scene as traffic remained stopped in the northbound lanes.

No official information had been released Saturday night regarding injuries or when the roadway would reopen.
