WATCH: Crash Backs Up Houston Harte Traffic

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash on West Houston Harte Expressway slowed westbound traffic Friday afternoon, backing up vehicles as far as North Bryant Boulevard.

San Angelo police and medics responded just before 3:20 p.m. Radio traffic stated two male patients, ages 18 and 19, reported neck pain.

Witnesses on scene reported that a school bus appeared to be involved and that children were being moved from a smaller bus to a larger one.

A Nixle alert from SAPD advised drivers to avoid the westbound lanes of Houston Harte before the Glenna Street exit due to the crash.

An official statement from San Angelo Police was not immediately available.
