VIDEO: Fiery Truck Crash Shuts Down I-20 Eastbound Near Ector County Line

ECTOR COUNTY, TX — A fiery crash involving semi-trucks shut down eastbound Interstate 20 near the Ector County line Saturday, according to videos shared by drivers. 

The wreck occurred around mile markers 89–91, east of Monahans on the way to Odessa. 

Witnesses reported that sand trucks and fuel haulers were involved in the crash. Traffic along I-20 Eastbound was heavily backed up, and drivers were advised to use alternate routes near the Sandhills exit and Penwell.

No official information has been released regarding injuries or the cause of the crash. Authorities have not yet provided a statement.
