WATCH: Apartment Fire Extinguished in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police and firefighters responded to a structure fire at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Green Meadow Drive around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Black smoke was seen coming from a second-floor apartment window as crews worked to access the unit. Multiple fire engines and police units were on scene, blocking parts of the parking area.

The extent of the damage and whether anyone was injured have not yet been confirmed. Authorities are actively investigating the fire.
