Fire Damages Home in South San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – A house fire broke out Monday afternoon near the intersection of West Avenue Q and South Randolph Street, drawing a large response from San Angelo Fire Department crews.

Firefighters arrived on scene and connected to a nearby hydrant as smoke billowed from the roof of the home. Multiple fire engines and emergency vehicles lined the street as crews worked to contain the blaze.

Damage was visible on the roof of the structure. Portions of the upper floor were charred, and firefighters could be seen spraying water onto the smoldering area.

No information was immediately available regarding injuries or the cause of the fire.

Seems like these older houses with those high dollar solar panels that cost more that the house are catching fire more often these days.
