Truck Driver Survives Horrific Crash on West Texas Highway

ORLA, TX – A crash on U.S. Highway 285 northwest of Pecos shut down the road Wednesday, but there were no reported fatalities.

According to West Texas Oilfield Traffic, the crash involved a truck with an ISO tanker, which is a container designed for the transportation of liquids and gases.

The exact contents of the tanker and the cause of the crash have not been confirmed by officials.

Despite the cab of the truck being severed from the rest of the vehicle due to the crash, all of the individuals involved survived, according to the update.

Authorities have not released further details. Drivers in the area were advised to use caution, particularly with high winds in the forecast.
