Crash on U.S. 87 Disrupts Traffic Near Susan Peak Road

SAN ANGELO, TX – A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of the U.S. Highway 87 frontage road and Susan Peak Road disrupted traffic late Monday morning as emergency crews responded to the scene.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. on Feb. 17, 2025. It was between a white Chrysler Caravan and a blue Jeep Wrangler. The Caravan received damage on its driver-side quarter panel, while the Jeep suffered front-end damage. 

The Texas Department of Public Safety responded with assistance from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Wall Volunteer Fire Department. Both vehicles involved had to be towed.

Traffic delays were reported in the area while authorities worked to clear the roadway.
