Video Shows Truck Fire on Houston Harte

SAN ANGELO, TX - A truck fire near Cavender’s on West Houston Harte Expressway prompted a warning from the San Angelo Police Department Sunday afternoon.

SAPD advised drivers around 5:30 p.m. to avoid the eastbound lanes of Houston Harte near Southwest Boulevard due to fire activity, which was captured in a video submitted by a reader.

The footage shows black smoke billowing from the truck as first responders work at the scene.

No injuries or additional details about the incident have been reported. Drivers were asked to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
