VIDEO: What the Heck Happened in the Bluffs Last Night?

SAN ANGELO, TX - A strange explosion was reported Tuesday night in the Bluffs area of San Angelo.

Ring doorbell footage showed the moment it happened around 9 p.m. The footage begins with a bright flash of light, followed by a brief moment of silence broken by a loud bang.

Some people in the area reported their homes being shaken, some reported that it might have been a jet breaking the sound barrier, and others thought it was a transformer exploding.

No major power outages have been reported, according to AEP's Texas Outage Map.
