VIDEO: Train Collides with Semi-Truck on Hwy 80

MIDLAND, TX — A train collided with a semi-truck Monday morning along Highway 80, causing delays and drawing emergency responders to the scene.

The crash left the semi-truck heavily damaged, with the train’s freight cars stopped alongside the roadway. Authorities have not yet reported any injuries or fatalities associated with the collision.

Drivers reported eastbound traffic backups extending for miles. 

Officials are working to clear the area and restore normal traffic flow. Motorists are advised to use caution and seek alternative routes until further notice.
