Crash Traps Motorist in Vehicle on Loop 306 

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash Monday afternoon on Loop 306 outside San Angelo trapped a motorist inside their vehicle.

The crash occurred about 4:20 p.m. on North Loop 306 east of town near Quicksand Golf Course.

According to a DPS trooper, two vehicles were involved and both were towing a trailer. It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash.

One of the vehicles had an occupant who was trapped inside, but the person was freed from the wreck by the time a reporter arrived on scene.

Injuries from the crash are unknown, but an ambulance was observed leaving the scene with its lights on.

Debris from the wreck was on the roadway, and traffic was slowed in the area while workers cleared the scene.
