Woman Ejected, Killed in Haskell County Rollover Crash

HASKELL, TX — A 46-year-old woman from O’Brien was killed after being ejected from her minivan when it overturned in a single-vehicle crash on a rural road in Haskell County late Sunday night.

Natalee Leeann Caddel lost control of her 2010 Ford Transit Connect minivan after entering a curve at an unsafe speed on Farm to Market Road 2163, according to a preliminary Texas Department of Public Safety report. The vehicle left the roadway to the west, skidded sideways and overturned about six miles northwest of Haskell around 11:10 p.m. Sunday.

Caddel was not wearing a seatbelt. She was taken to a hospital in Haskell and pronounced dead at 12:21 a.m. Monday by Justice of the Peace Doy Jeter.

The weather was clear and the road was dry. The posted speed limit is 55 mph, and no one else was injured.
