Driver Injured in Sherwood Way Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — One driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries Wednesday after a two-vehicle crash on Sherwood Way in which a white Ford Expedition struck a traffic signal pole, according to the San Angelo Police Department. 

Police said that a maroon Chrysler 300 was traveling westbound when it turned left and was struck by the eastbound Expedition. The impact left the Expedition with heavy front-end damage against a metal pole at the intersection. The Chrysler also sustained front-end damage. 

The driver of the Expedition was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No injuries were reported for anyone in the Chrysler.

No citations have been issued. Police continue to investigate and said it is unknown what color the traffic lights were for either vehicle. There are no cameras at the intersection that show the light cycles.
