WATCH: Sign Crushed & Vehicles Demolished in Major Crash on Sherwood Way

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A major crash took out a sign near roadway at Sherwood Way and West Houston Harte Expressway.

Around 11:30 a.m., San Angelo first responders were dispatched to the 5100 block of Sherwood Way next to Dairy Queen and Lowe’s for a major vehicle crash. On scene, a dark silver Hyundai Sonata and a White GMC pickup truck sustained heavy damage and the truck even left the roadway and struck an orange construction sign.

According to police on the scene, the white GMC pickup truck ran the red light while the Hyundai was attempting to turn onto Sherwood Way and struck the sign. One person from each vehicle involved was transported to Shannon Medical Center and no citations have been issued as this crash is still under investigation.
