WATCH: Rollover Crash on Loop 306 at Knickerbocker Road

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A rollover crash at Knickerbocker Road and Loop 306 left one person trapped inside the vehicle for a short time.

Around 12:20 p.m., on Thursday, April 23, 2026, San Angelo first responders were dispatched to Knickerbocker Road and Loop 306 for a rollover crash on the access road. Radio reports indicated that one person was stuck inside a vehicle, but first responders were able to get them out safely.

On scene, a reporter observed a white Chevy SUV rolled on its side at the exit ramp off of Loop 306 to Knickerbocker Road.

An officer with the San Angelo Police Department said the vehicle was exiting off of Loop 306, and the driver claimed that something made her lose control of the vehicle, causing it to roll. The driver was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries and, while a citation has not been issued, the investigation continues.
