Crash on Houston Harte Slows Traffic in Both Directions

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash on the Houston Harte Expressway on Wednesday morning is slowing traffic in both directions.

The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of West Houston Harte under the Glenna Street overpass.

There appeared to be only one vehicle involved. A red pickup truck left the roadway and slammed into the cables in the median, causing significant damage to the front of the truck.

The crash also knocked down a light pole into the median, and traffic was reduced to one lane in each direction.

It is unknown what caused the crash and if anyone required medical treatment.
