UPDATE: Rollover Crash Shuts Down Beauregard Avenue

SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in San Angelo resulted in a car rolling over on its side, completely shutting down Beauregard Avenue between Abe and David streets.

The crash occurred about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Abe and Beauregard.

A Dodge Charger slammed into a Nissan Versa, knocking the Nissan onto its side in the middle of the busy road. A white Chevy Silverado truck was also involved, though it had significantly less damage.

Police have blocked traffic from both directions on Beauregard.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the driver of the Charger ran a red light on Abe Street and collided with the Versa, which had a green light on Beauregard.

The crash caused the Versa to then be pushed into the Silverado.

A man was observed in handcuffs being placed in the back of a police vehicle. The officer stated the arrest was made because an occupant in one of the vehicles had a warrant.
