Crash Locks Down Traffic at Bryant and Avenue N

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash late Monday morning is causing traffic to be redirected at the intersection of Bryant Boulevard and Avenue N.

The crash occurred about 11:25 a.m. when a Kia Forte traveling south on Bryant attempted to turn left onto Avenue N and crashed into the side of a Toyota Tundra that was traveling westbound on Avenue N.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, both drivers claimed to have a green light, so no citations have been issued at this time. The officer is attempting to gather more information to determine who actually had the green light.

The driver of the Tundra was complaining of pain after the crash, but she was treated on scene and released without visiting the hospital.

The crash caused all southbound traffic on Bryant to be diverted onto Avenue N.
