Two Hospitalized After Crash Shuts Down Part of Knickerbocker Road

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A two-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital Monday evening and shut down part of Knickerbocker Road.

SAPD issued a Nixle alert at 7:15 p.m. advising drivers to avoid the 1300 block of Knickerbocker Road while officers investigated the crash.

Police reported that a black Dodge was attempting to turn left at the intersection of University Avenue and Knickerbocker Road when it failed to yield the right of way to a westbound black Nissan. The Dodge turned left into the Nissan, causing the crash.

Two people were transported to Shannon Medical Center with injuries.

SAPD reported that two citations were issued at the scene. The roadway reopened after officers cleared the vehicles.
