Three-Car Crash in Odessa Somehow Ends With Reported Gunfire

 

ODESSA, TX — Odessa police are investigating a three-car crash that escalated into a disturbance involving reported gunfire Sunday afternoon near 52nd Street and Esmond Drive.

A witness told First Alert 7 that an argument broke out after the collision, leading to shots being fired. The same witness said one person was taken from the scene in an ambulance.

Police had not released official details as of Sunday afternoon. Officers remained on scene, blocking off portions of the roadway with crime tape while gathering evidence.

First Alert 7 reported it has requested additional information from the Odessa Police Department and is awaiting a response.
