Utility Truck Rear-Ends Van on Sherwood Way

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash slowed traffic Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Southland Boulevard.

It happened around 1 p.m. According to information from the scene, a Tech Line utility truck traveling east on Sherwood failed to control its speed and struck the back of a Nissan van. Both vehicles had one driver inside.

The driver of the utility truck was checked at the scene, while the driver of the Nissan was evaluated for possible injuries. Authorities said no injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

Police said the driver of the Tech Line truck will likely be cited for failure to control speed, which caused the collision.
