SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash on the 4400 block of Houston Harte Frontage Road sent one driver to the hospital Friday afternoon, according to San Angelo police.

The police said a red Mazda was stopped or slowing at a yield sign when a gray Chevrolet Silverado failed to control its speed and rear-ended the car.

The driver of the Mazda was transported to a hospital with injuries, though their condition is not known. The Silverado’s driver suffered minor injuries but refused medical transport.

Police cited the Silverado’s driver for failure to control speed. No other occupants were in the vehicles.
