Both Drivers at Fault After Vehicles Collide in Residential Area

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash in a residential neighborhood Tuesday morning was determined to be the result of both driving failing to yield.

The crash occurred about 11 a.m. at the intersection of Forest Park Avenue and Bertha Street.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a white Nissan Sentra was headed southbound on Bertha Street, while a black Chevy Equinox was driving eastbound on Forest Park Avenue.

Both drivers entered the uncontrolled intersection, where there are no street signs to direct traffic, and neither driver yielded.

There were no injuries, and the only citation issued was for failure to provide proof of insurance.
