Woman Taken to Hospital After Rear-Ending Truck

SAN ANGELO, TX — A woman went to the hospital after a crash at the intersection of South Bryant Boulevard and Avenue N on Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred about 4 p.m. when a small car rear-ended a pickup truck.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the woman may have had a medical issue that contributed to the crash. 

Her trip to the hospital was due to a pre-existing condition and not from the collision, he stated.

It is unclear if a citation will be issued.

The driver of the other vehicle was able to drive away without medical attention.
