UPDATED: Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes Into San Angelo Man in Washington

 

GRANDVIEW, Wash. — A San Angelo man injured in a suspected DUI crash on Interstate 82 near Grandview, Washington, has been identified as 34-year-old Gregory C. Solewin, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday near milepost 76. Troopers said Solewin was outside his gray Ford F-150 re-securing a trailer on the shoulder when a white Toyota Camry left the roadway and struck both him and the vehicle.

The Camry’s driver, identified as 31-year-old Ivan Jimenez of Prosser, Washington, was injured when his vehicle rolled after the impact. He was transported to Prosser Memorial Hospital and is facing charges of DUI and vehicular assault.

Solewin was taken to Kadlec Medical Center with injuries. His condition was not released. The crash remains under investigation.
