Highway Crash Shuts Down Both Lanes of Traffic between San Angelo, Grape Creek

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 87 between San Angelo and Grape Creek on Monday afternoon shut down both lanes of northbound traffic.

The crash occurred in front of the Texas Agrilife Research and Extension Center at San Angelo, and one of the center’s vehicles was involved.

An ambulance was observed leaving the scene with its lights on, but no information is available on the occupants of either vehicle.

Both lanes of northbound traffic were closed due to the crash, but vehicles were allowed to slowly continue on the shoulder of the highway.
