SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver who is believed to have suffered a medical condition caused a five-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in San Angelo.
The crash occurred at the Lake View Towne Center shopping center on 29th Street at about 3:30 p.m.
According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a white Chevy Suburban was headed westbound on 29th Street when it struck a silver Nissan Sentra before continuing into the parking lot of the shopping center.
The Suburban crashed into a blue Chevy Colorado, which was then pushed into a silver Dodge Challenger, causing it to hit a dark grey Challenger.
The driver of the Suburban was transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries, the officer stated.
No other individuals were injured, and no citations have been issued at this time.
