Three-Vehicle Crash Halts Traffic on Walling Pecan Road Near U.S. 277

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle crash Monday afternoon temporarily shut down traffic along Walling Pecan Road near U.S. Highway 277.

According to emergency dispatch audio, one person was initially reported trapped with pain in the ankle area. However, a witness on scene said no injuries were ultimately reported.

The crash involved a Cadillac Escalade, a black Ford pickup, and an older model blue truck. All three vehicles were significantly damaged and were later towed from the scene by Home Motors of San Angelo.

Traffic was halted while emergency crews responded and removed the wreckage. As of 3:30 p.m., the road had reopened to drivers.
