Driver Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash on Sherwood Way

SAN ANGELO, TX — A woman was taken to the hospital with neck pain after a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Moritz on Sunday.

It happened shortly after 2 p.m., close to the old H-E-B. San Angelo police said the crash involved only one known vehicle — a car driven by the woman, who was the sole occupant. The other vehicle fled the scene, and as of now, no description is available.

The driver could not recall details about the other vehicle, officers said. She was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

Investigators are reviewing potential surveillance footage from nearby businesses in hopes of identifying the suspect vehicle.

The case is being worked as a hit-and-run.
