Woman, Infant Taken to Hospital After Crash on Sherwood Way

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash sent a woman and her child to the hospital Tuesday in San Angelo.

Around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025, first responders were called to the intersection of the Loop 306 frontage road and Sherwood Way for a crash.

According to a San Angelo police officer, a Chevy Yukon was traveling southbound on Sherwood Way, and a black Dodge pickup truck attempted to turn left onto the frontage road, causing a crash between the two vehicles.

Both the Yukon and truck ended up on the curb underneath the traffic lights.

The driver of the Yukon and her infant child were transported to Shannon Medical Center for further treatment.  

The driver of the black Dodge truck will receive a citation.
