4-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down U.S. 87 North of San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A four-vehicle crash has shut down all northbound traffic on U.S. Highway 87 between San Angelo and Grape Creek.

The crash occurred about 4 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of U.S. 87 and March Road a few miles north of San Angelo.

A Nixle alert was sent out shortly after by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Department advising people to avoid the area due to a major vehicle accident.

Traffic is currently being redirected east on March Road.

Two ambulances were dispatched to the crash, and it is believed at least one person was transported to the hospital.
