Rollover Crash on FM 2288 Sends Two to Hospital, Shuts Down Road

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A rollover crash on FM 2288 Wednesday morning sent two people to the hospital and shut down the road.

The crash occurred in the 3000 block of N. FM 2288 just south of Bison Trail about 9:15 a.m.

It is believed a semi-truck collided with a car, which resulted in the car leaving the roadway and rolling over before going through a fence and into a field.

There were reportedly two victims from the crash, including a male who was unconscious with a head injury.

Two ambulances were observed leaving the site of the crash.

A Nixle alert cautioned drivers to find an alternate route as FM 2288 had been shut down for a major vehicle accident.
