GARDEN CITY, TX — Two people were killed in a vehicle crash outside Garden City on Thursday, April 3.

According to a crash report from Sergeant Steven Blanco with the Texas of Department of Public Safety, a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on Hillger Road and stopped at the intersection of FM 33, about eight miles north of Garden City.

The passenger in the Expedition, Josephine Linda Cypert, 78, died at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Silverado was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with minor injuries.
